A Little about us

PIN13 Protospace is an initiative to promote electronics and digital experimentation and innovation using open source tools and technologies such as Arduino and Android, with an eye on sharing and exchanging ideas with the larger community of open source innovators world-wide. 

PIN13 Protospace is an initiative launched by Mr. Hazim Bitar in 2010 to promote digital innovation in rural and disadvantaged areas in Jordan.  It was originally named MicroNAS but later re-named to PIN13 Protospace due to a name conflict with an existing entity. 

What we do

We hold various activities in support of electronics prototypers such as:
  • Workshops on electronics and robotics.
  • Build open source electronics prototypes and share the designs.
  • Help prototypers navigate the complexities of importing electronics.
  • Create grassroots and media awareness of electronics prototyping.
